The rules we made up

Our Core Pillars

First off, this is neither a CRM nor EventBrite. It's a tool that Mickey and I made in order to bring together cool groups of marketing folks. It started out as us just manually managing Google Calendar invites, and then when our list hit a few hundred, we realized we needed some technological help.

Small on Purpose

The goal isn't the biggest space we can find. We want to craft events where you have the chance to meet a lot of new people. We've found that once you get past 25 people, it gets more difficult to traverse. Now, we will have a larger, educational event, but those are the exception, not the rule.

Everybody Brings Somebody

If you got invited by Mickey or Chris, chances are we asked you to bring a friend and get them signed up. Your friend is a brand new person for a lot of folks that will be at the hang out.

Invite Only

Sounds exclusive, but it's not. Given that we cap a lot of our events, we want to make sure a lot of different people have the chance to come and hang out. You may get an invite to an event one month but not the next. If the same ten people show up to every single thing, nobody's meeting anyone new. We rotate so the people keep changing.

You Get a Vote

A lot of our events are visible. Take a look around the site. If you find an event you'd like to attend, we built a "raise your hand" button. That lets us know we have more people interested in a particular type of event, and, if we need some more folks, you'll be first on the list to join!

You Can Sign Up

Remember how the old Gmail used to work? You only got in if you knew someone? You can absolutely sign up for the site if you don't know anyone yet, but we will double check to make sure you're in the general field of marketing and in Georgia before giving you the green light.

Iteration is Key

If you were around in the beginning of 2026, you may remember the simple "keep me in the loop" form this used to be. Well, y'all spoke up pretty loud, and now in order to keep all of y'all in the loop, we needed to build something a little more robust to help us with that. This won't be the final thing, and we promise to keep things growing.

So yes, there are logins now. Save a password and every event you've attended shows up. We're posting photos from our events in here too, so if you want to write a LinkedIn post you've got the pictures. You'll also have the guest list from every event you went to, so if you forgot to connect with somebody while you were there, you can still grab their name and their LinkedIn.

Go ahead and submit a password if you don't mind. That's what lets you confirm your attendance, and the calendar invites go out automatically from there.

That's really it. We just want to connect and build community with good folks.
